This is an exclusive inboard version of the Utility 23. Powered by the new generation V6 and V8 Mercruiser engines (250 and 350 hp), it is lightning fast with a top speed of up to 62 knots. Even at such speeds these engines are very quiet and vibration free. The Super Utility’s hull is especialy balanced for inboard engines, with a shorter transom step.

Inboard vers outboard engine: 
Slows down the motions of the hull and adds more sideways stability (larger moment of inertia and lower center of gravity). Both at rest and in very high speeds this is very evident compared with an outboard engined boat. 
More open and usable aft section of the boat, for bathing, water sport, diving or fishing. 
Very precise and fast, High Performance servo steering with only 2.6 turns (on Cormate boats). Very little effort is needed for quick and precise steering input at high speed or when fast harbor maneuvering is needed. 
Less noise and deeper more relaxed engine sound (new generation Mercruiser).
